Terminologia de les plataformes de vídeo a la carta

This dictionary gathers a hundred basic terms linked to VOD platforms, an audiovisual service in transformation, with a large number of consumers and a significant impact as an industry creating content that can be consumed on demand.

The terms refer to the various fields that can be consulted in the concept diagram. On the one hand, you will find terms referring to the management of user accounts on the platforms and also to the navigation of the content viewing interfaces. On the other hand, terms specific to the audiovisual products and genres themselves have been collected. Also, terms linked to business management, from a business and marketing point of view. And finally, terms related to the telecommunications systems that make video on demand technologically possible.

The work is the result of collaboration between TERMCAT and other organisations and experts in the field that you will find referenced in the document Work team.

Clicking on "Consulta de termes" ('Term search'), terms can be looked up in three ways: using the alphabetical indexes (there is a different index for each language), using the thematic index, or making simple or advanced searches in the upper space "Text de la consulta" ('Text search') in any of the dictionary languages.
